1. DỐT MỚI DU HỌC

KKK… Một thời, quan niệm này đã làm phiền lòng  không biết bao nhiêu phụ huynh và du học sinh, tức anh ách mà ứ làm gì được, làm gì có internet/ facebook hay zalo như bây giờ để mà xả… Và thiên hạ thì không cần biết DHS giỏi hay dốt, chung chung thì là:

• Ôi xời, trượt đại học mới du học ấy mà!
• Ôi xời, học bên Tây dễ như chơi, ai mà chả đi được!
• Thằng ấy/ con ấy… tui lạ gì, không tải nổi học Việt Nam nên bỏ của chạy lấy người…

Có biết đâu, để đi được đã CÀY TRÀY VI TRÓC VẢY: nào Ai Eo, nào điểm đầu vào tối thiểu khá giỏi trở lên, nào đạo đức tốt,  nào visa với 100 thứ giấy tờ tài chính cần trình… Đấy là mới nói chuyện đi nhé, chưa nói đến học…

2. GIỎI- GIÀU MỚI DU HỌC ĐƯỢC

Song song với lý lẽ Dốt mới du học… thì không ít người cho rằng muốn đi du học, nếu không cực giỏi thì phải cực giàu:

• Giàu- vì đụng đến cái gì cũng là Đô la, là Euro, từ cái nhỏ nhất như cái mắc áo cho đến những khoản to hơn như thuê nhà, học phí… Đến mấy chục ngàn đô mỗi năm học
• Giỏi- thì mới xin được học bổng, học bổng giúp trang trải học phí, ăn ở….

3. THỰC TẾ!!!

Thực tế hơn 21 năm hoạt động trong lĩnh vực du học, tiếp xúc và hỗ trợ hầu hết các đối tượng, gửi DHS đi gần 20 nước… chúng tôi thấy rõ rằng để du học cần:

• Giàu? yes!
• Giỏi? yes!

Nhưng cũng còn:

• Không cần giàu- chỉ cần đủ!
• Không cần giỏi/giàu- chỉ cần lộ trình học tập phù hợp

Và nếu nói:

• DỐT thì mới du học———–sorry, ngày nảy ngày nay, cũng như xưa: dốt thì mời bạn ở nhà!

CỤ THỂ THÌ:

1. GIÀU: tốt rồi nhưng nếu dốt & không đủ tốt thì cũng không đi được. Yêu cầu đầu vào tối thiểu, ví dụ các nước nói tiếng Anh, IELTS là tầm 5.5 (không học không thể có), học lực để được cấp thư mời học// visa du  học cần tầm 6.5 (vậy là khá rồi, đâu có dốt), nếu điểm thấp hơn 6.5 thì cần có bằng chứng giải thích rõ ràng: kinh nghiệm làm việc? kỹ năng khác… Còn nếu bạn tệ, từng có tiền án tiền sự… thì chả văn phòng visa nào cấp visa cho bạn luôn!
2. GIỎI: rất tốt, đủ giỏi bạn có thể xin được học bổng và Papa Mama không phải cấp “học bổng”. Đây là loại DHS mà các trường, các văn phòng visa và các công ty tư vấn du học thích nhất, chào đón nhất!
3. GIÀU- GIỎI: thôi rồi lượm ơi, mà bây giờ nhiều DHS thế này lắm. Papa Mama các bạn ấy bảo: chị không cần học bổng. Một số phụ huynh và học sinh nói rõ: dành cho các ban khác cô ạ! Rất tuyệt!
4. KHÔNG CẦN GIÀU- CHỈ CẦN ĐỦ- là những DHS chúng tôi hay gặp nhất, và chúng tôi gọi là con nhà giàu vượt khó hạng nhì, vì Papa Mama còn nỗ lực trả được cho con mình: người thì bán cái nhà dự phòng tuổi già được vừa xoẳn tiền để con vào trường top 100, học phí tầm 50,000 USD/năm; người thì gom góp đủ cho con vào trường xếp hạng 1000 Uni trên thế giới trở lại, học phí tầm 10,000 trở lên… Con em các gia đình dạng này thường cần làm thêm chút chút nếu muốn du lịch, son phấn, bar/pub… nhưng rất ổn!
5. KHÔNG CẦN GIỎI- GIÀU, CHỈ CẦN LỘ TRÌNH PHÙ HỢP!

Không giàu- không giỏi và muốn du học: thật sự đây là đối tượng làm đau đầu dân tư vấn du học như bọn tớ… Nhưng, đây cũng là chuyện nhỏ, bọn tớ có đủ kiến thức- kinh nghiệm lên lộ trình học: nhanh- tiện- tiết kiệm- nhiều cơ hội việc làm và định cư sau tốt nghiệp.

4. NHỮNG LỘ TRÌNH DU HỌC PHỔ BIẾN

Khá nhiều lộ trình – tùy năng lực học tập & tài chính, bạn có thể chọn cho mình một lộ trình phù hợp. Nếu tính từ bậc học thấp lên cao, thì có các lộ trình:

1. Hết lớp 1,2,3…10… chuyển tiếp lên học 2,3,4…11 bậc phổ thông;
2. Hết lớp 10– chuyển học A level trường tư tại Anh, giúp tiết kiệm 01 năm tiền ăn ở và ra trường sớm 1 năm để đi làm kiếm tiền;
3. Hết lớp 10- chuyển học dự bị đai học tại Singapore, giúp tiết kiệm 01 năm tiền ăn ở và ra trường sớm 1 năm để đi làm kiếm tiền;
4. Hết lớp 11- chuyển học A Level trường công/ tư tại Anh, nhắm đến những trường đai học hàng đầu ở Anh và trên thế giới;
5. Hết lớp 11- chuyển học giao lưu văn hóa tại Mỹ, miễn học phí và tiền ăn ở, sau đó chuyển tiếp vào đại học Mỹ;
6. Hết lớp 11- chuyển học dự bị đại học tại Anh, Úc, NZ, Sing, Malai…. giúp tiết kiệm 01 năm tiền ăn ở và ra trường sớm 1 năm để đi làm kiếm tiền;
7. Hết lớp 12- vào thẳng đại học tại bất cứ trường nào trên thế giới- nếu đủ điều kiện;
8. Hết lớp 12- vào học cao đẳng (trực thuộc đại học- tương đương năm 1 đại  học) nếu KHÔNG đủ điều kiện vào thẳng. Sau khóa cao đẳng, bạn vào năm 2 đại học, tổng thời gian học y chang vào thẳng đại học nhưng năm 1 bạn học chương trình mang tính hỗ trợ sinh viên quốc tế hơn- giúp bạn thành công ở bậc đại học;
9. Hết 11 hoặc 12- vào cao đẳng nghề, tận dụng học phí rẻ, học xong đi làm, định cự nếu muốn và đủ điều kiện;
10. Hết 11 hoặc 12- vào cao đẳng nghề, tận dụng học phí rẻ, học xong chuyển tiếp lên học đại học (thêm 1-2 năm thôi), sau đó đi làm- định cư nếu muốn và đủ điều kiện;
11. Hết đại học- học lên Thạc sỹ và tùy chọn nước để học lâu (2 năm) hoặc mau (1 năm) và tận dụng việc được ở lại làm việc theo chính sách, ví dụ:

• Úc: thạc sỹ 2 năm + được ở lại 2-3 năm tùy ngành và khu vực học+ định cư khi đủ điều kiện…
• New Zealand: thạc sỹ 2 năm + ở lại làm việc 2-3 năm, được mang theo vợ hoặc chồng cùng con cái, trong đó: vợ/ chồng được cấp visa làm việc; con được miễn học phí bậc phổ thông…+ định cư khi đủ điều kiện…
• Anh: thạc sỹ chỉ 01 năm + được ở lại làm việc 2 năm+ định cư khi đủ điều kiện
• ….. (còn nhiều lộ trình)

Bước sang năm Covid thứ 2, DHS tại các nước nói chung và UK nói riêng đã bớt lo lắng nhiều so với năm trước. Hầu hết DHS tại UK của công ty Đức Anh đã được tiêm vaccine mũi 1, tất cả đều khỏe mạnh và ít gặp phản ứng phụ. Các bạn đều lạc quan với kế hoạch học tập và sinh sống tại Anh, đặc biệt là chủ trương “Không trì hoãn bất cứ thứ gì”.

Cty Đức Anh: Các em đều đã được tiêm vắc xin, vậy cảm giác thế nào?

Ngọc Điệp: Yep. Em đã được tiêm mũi vaccine đầu tiên vào cuối tháng 6. Em đã đăng kí với University Health Centre của trường, trung tâm đã sắp xếp & gửi lịch tiêm cho em. Hiện nay, chính phủ đã triển khai tiêm vaccine đến nhóm tuổi ngoài 20. Ngoài ra, thành phố Hudderfields thường tổ chức các địa điểm tiêm miễn phí vào cuối tuần, không cần book lịch trước, tất cả mọi người đều có thể đến đó để được tiêm sớm. Rất nhiều bạn của em cũng đi tiêm ở những địa điểm này. Với tình hình này, em thấy lạc quan hơn và hy vọng vaccine sẽ có tác dụng và dịch sẽ sớm chấm dứt.

Mạnh Khiêm: Em đã được tiêm 1 mũi và cảm thấy bình thường cho đến bây giờ, trong thời gian tới em sẽ tiếp tục đăng ký để tiêm mũi thứ 2. Giờ thì em có thể chạy bộ hàng ngày tại công viên gần nhà mà không phải lo lắng nhiều. Nói chung, UK đang kiểm soát và phòng chống dịch khá tốt với tỷ lệ dân được tiêm rất cao hàng đầu thế giới, số ca nhiễm cũng đã giảm đáng kể nên rất yên tâm nhé các bạn.

Anh Đức : Trường em học và Chính phủ Anh Quốc đã hỗ trợ DHS rất chu đáo. Em cũng đã được tiêm một mũi vacxin với sự hỗ trợ của Trung tâm Y tế Trường. Nhìn chung tại London, các hoạt động đang trở lại bình thường hơn. Bây giờ em có thể ngồi café cùng với các bạn lúc rảnh rồi.

Đừng trì hoãn kế hoạch của bạn nhé! Vì chúng tớ đang rất ổn và UK cũng vậy!

Cty Đức Anh: Thật tuyệt vời, vậy việc học của các em thế nào? Và trường có những hỗ trợ gì cho sinh viên?

Ngọc Điệp: Uni.of Huddersfield, trường em đang học dự kiến sẽ cho sinh viên học on campus từ kỳ tháng 9/2021. Hiện tại, bọn em đang học online song song với offline. Những môn lên lớp thì nhà trường luôn đảm bảo không gian an toàn nhất khi học. Thêm nữa là các cửa hàng, nhà hàng ở bên này đã đồng loạt mở cửa và tuyển nhân viên. Thậm chí, rất nhiều bạn của em đã bắt đầu xin được việc làm thêm và đang đi làm rồi.

Anh Đức: Những môn học on campus thì vẫn diễn ra bình thường nhưng vẫn đảm bảo an toàn cho sinh viên khi lên lớp còn về việc học online em cũng khá hài lòng về các dịch vụ hỗ trợ sinh viên học online trong mùa dịch Covid này ạ. Giáo viên cố gắng trả lời và giải quyết các vấn đề qua email nhanh nhất có thể và không quá đòi hỏi sinh viên khi hoàn thành bài nếu bản thân SV có các trở ngại về trang thiết bị cũng như thời gian. Các sản phẩm thực hiện trong đợt Covid sẽ không đánh giá được năng lực thực sự của sinh viên nên là nếu bị điểm fail thì cũng không ảnh hưởng đến kết quả sau này nhé.

Mạnh Khiêm: Việc học vẫn duy trì online và offline nên không quá nhàm chán. Bọn em vẫn được phép lên thư viện hàng ngày, thư viện được mở đến 12 giờ tối nên cũng có thời gian gặp gỡ trao đổi với bạn bè khi cần nhưng vẫn cảm giác an toàn khi ở trong khuôn viên trường. Trong thời gian này, Aston Uni cũng hỗ trợ em và các sinh viên khác trong việc mua sắm các dụng cụ điện tử như laptop để phục vụ cho việc học tập, hỗ trợ tài chính để mua wifi tốc độ cao phục vụ học tập hay là cho phép nộp bài tập muộn hơn 1 chút so với việc học on campus.

Cty Đức Anh: Có điều gì thú vị tại UK và ngôi trường em đang theo học mà em muốn chia sẻ cùng các bạn ?  

 Ngọc Điệp: Em nghĩ là thời tiết là điều khá thú vị. Em sang UK thời điểm mùa xuân nên may mắn thời tiết không còn quá lạnh, nắng đẹp và rất khô ráo. Nhưng chỉ tiếc là có mấy tháng mùa xuân ngắn ngủi là tạnh ráo và ấm áp thôi, và những tháng còn lại, đặc biệt là mùa thu và đông thì đúng là không khác những gì mọi người hay nghĩ về thời tiết UK là lạnh và mưa nhiều. Thời tiết có thể trở mặt nhanh hơn người yêu cũ :). Hồi tháng 4 có hôm đang nắng rực rỡ, bất ngờ trời âm u và tuyết rơi, chỉ sau khoảng 20 phút bầu trời lại trong xanh và nắng vàng ươm. Hiện giờ đang là mùa hè thì thời tiết khá đỏng đảnh, mưa nắng thất thường hơn và trời sẽ tối rất muộn, có khi 9 p.m vẫn có nắng.

Còn về trường, campus trường khá rộng, hiện đại và cũng có nhiều khoảng không gian thơ mộng nhờ nhiều cây xanh và một con kênh nhỏ bao quanh trường, cũng là địa điểm em hay check-in sống ảo :). Thư viện trường là nơi em dành thời gian khá nhiều để tự học vì khá rộng, đẹp và yên tĩnh tạo cho em cảm giác  rất thoải mái. Một điểm rất tiện lợi nữa là sinh viên có thể mượn laptop của trường về nhà sử dụng trong vòng 7 ngày thông qua hệ thống tự động chỉ cần dùng thẻ sinh viên”.

Mạnh Khiêm: Ở UK có khá nhiều người nhập cư từ các châu lục khác, đặc biệt là châu Phi và Ấn Độ, bạn sẽ thấy  nhiều màu da sắc tộc ở đây nên đừng ngạc nhiên với điều này khi ra đường nhé. Nhưng chính nó đã tạo nên 1 cộng đồng đa văn hoá giúp DHS không chỉ hiểu thêm về văn hoá Anh Quốc mà các nền văn hoá khác nữa.

Đại học Aston nằm ở trung tâm thành phố Birmingham, thành phố lớn thứ 2 tại UK nên nhịp sống rất nhanh và năng động. Giao thông công cộng rất thuận lợi để di chuyển xung quanh thành phố và đi đến những thành phố khác nên đây là điểm cộng cho bạn nào mà thích du lịch và tìm hiểu các thành phố ở UK nhé.

Anh Đức: Phải thừa nhận London là thành phố đa dạng về văn hóa, sắc tộc hơn Việt Nam rất nhiều nên sẽ phải có một số quy tắc ứng xử, giao tiếp các bạn nên lưu ý. Còn người bản địa hay người nhập cư rất thoải mái và thân thiện nên em đã làm quen được nhiều người bạn quốc tế đến từ khắp mọi nơi trên thế giới.

Về UAL (Uni. of Arts London), điều tuyệt vời nhất là giáo viên tại đây giống như bạn của mình, hầu như không có gì là không thể tâm sự với họ. Đặc biệt là môi trường học nhiều động lực và kích thích sự sáng tạo tối đa, toàn bộ sinh viên và giáo viên đều cảm thấy hứng thú khi tham gia các lớp học, trao đổi trực tiếp để đưa ra các ý tưởng hay ho và  hoàn thiện sản phẩm.

Học bổng 50% – Alumni Scholarship:

• Dành cho các sinh viên đã hoàn thiện khóa học cử nhân tại Northamptonđạt bằng khá (2:1) trở lên hoặc hoàn thiện khóa top-up đạt bằng giỏi (1st class) tiếp tục đăng ký học khóa thạc sỹ (master degree) tại Northampton- kì tháng 9/ 2021;

Học bổng 30% – Second Master Degree:
