APPLICATION TO STUDY IN FRANCE
Thứ Hai - 15/12/2025
I. Études en France (EEF) Application Procedure
All students wishing to enroll at a French higher education institution must complete the Études en France (EEF) application process.
The mandatory steps include:
- Creating an Études en France account and completing the online application file
- Taking a French language proficiency test (if required)
- Submitting your application on the EEF platform or confirming your offer if already admitted
- Paying the interview fee and completing the Campus France Vietnam interview
- The order of these steps depends on whether your intended institution is connected to the EEF system.
You may check whether your school is connected to EEF here.
1. If your institution is connected to EEF
All application procedures are completed online directly through the EEF system.
This category includes applications for:
- First year of Bachelor’s degree (L1) and the first common year of medical studies (PACES);
- State Diploma of Architecture (DEEA, DEA, HMNOP);
- University Technology Diploma (DUT);
- Applications for L2, L3, M1, M2 at most public universities (except Panthéon-Assas), where no parallel procedures are required.
Note: Always check the institution’s website (“Admission” section) to ensure no additional procedures are required.
2. If your institution is NOT connected to EEF
Students must complete additional procedures outside the EEF system.
This applies to:
- Grande École preparatory classes (CPGE), Higher Technician Certificate (BTS), and DNMADE (Arts & Design programs)
- DUT via ADIUT
- Schools that are connected but require parallel applications, e.g., INSA engineering schools
- Institutions not connected to EEF: specialized schools, business schools, management schools, engineering schools, art schools, etc.
- Specialized medical programs: DFMS and DFMSA
- Doctoral studies
Students must follow the admission procedures stated on each institution’s website.
Note: Certain cases may be exempt from the TCF exam and/or the Campus France interview. See details here.
