WHY STUDY IN NETHERLANDS?
Monday - 15/12/2025
Many Vietnamese students choose to study in the Netherlands for several key reasons:
- Excellent quality of education and research: According to the Times Higher Education Supplement, 11 Dutch universities are ranked among the Top 200 universities worldwide.
- An international learning environment: The Dutch education system emphasizes interaction, collaboration, and problem-solving-approaches that match the needs and expectations of international students. The Netherlands was the first non-English-speaking country to offer English-taught programs alongside Dutch, creating ideal conditions for students to integrate academically and socially.
- A wide range of study options: Dutch universities and universities of applied sciences offer more than 1,500 international courses and programs, including 1,455 fully English-taught programs.
- Simple application and visa procedures, with no financial proof required and a 100% visa success rate.
- Part-time work opportunities, up to 10 hours per week during the academic term. After graduation, students are granted a one-year stay-back period (Orientation Year) to look for employment or pursue further studies.
- Opportunities to explore European culture and travel, thanks to the Netherlands’ central location in Europe.
- Affordable study costs, typically about one-third of the cost of studying in the UK and around two-thirds compared to Australia or Canada.
