Giới thiệu chung: Southern Cross là trường ĐH hiện đại, năng động có mức học phí cạnh tranh nhất trong các trường ĐH công lập tại Úc. Ưu thế nổi trội của SCU là bằng cấp đào tạo gắn liền với thực tiễn thông qua học phần thực tập tại các cơ sở doanh nghiệp uy tín. Thời gian thực tập từ 300 đến 1.000 giờ tùy theo chuyên ngành. SCU có chương trình đào tạo cử nhân và thạc sỹ về Quản lý khách sạn, cam kết sinh viên được thực tập có trả lương đến 600 giờ tại các khách sạn quốc tế chuyên nghiệp. Các ngành được sinh viên quốc tế lựa chọn nhiều nhất bao gồm kinh doanh, quản trị kinh doanh, quản trị du lịch khách sạn, công nghệ thông tin, kỹ sư xây dựng, kỹ sư cơ khí, kỹ sư môi trường, luật, khoa học sức khỏe, môi trường và giáo dục…
