  • After Grade 11: study A Levels at state (if you are 16+) or private schools, or take a foundation programme leading to a bachelor’s degree;
  • After Grade 12: study a foundation programme (available at most universities) or enter Year 1 of a bachelor’s degree (at selected institutions);
  • After a bachelor’s degree: progress to a master’s degree;
  • After an honours bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree: progress to a PhD.

Documents Required for Studying in the UK

Depending on the student’s specific situation, additional documents may be requested. However, the most common required documents include:

  • Diploma and transcripts of your highest completed level;
  • Current academic transcripts if you are still a student;
  • Passport or birth certificate;
  • English language certificate (if available);
  • Two reference letters/personal statement/research proposal;
  • Academic achievements or research work (if any).

Applying to University via UCAS After Finishing Foundation, and Important Notes

  • You should carefully read the instructions for applying through UCAS;
  • If you wish to study a bachelor’s degree in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland or Wales, you must apply online through UCAS, or through UKPASS if you are applying for postgraduate study;
  • Important: UCAS deadlines are fixed – prepare and submit early before the cut-off dates for UCAS or UKPASS.

Important Note: You may still apply even if you do not yet meet the English requirement or are waiting for your academic results. Simply submit the academic documents you currently have, and we will help you obtain a Conditional Offer Letter to secure your place. Once you obtain your diploma, provisional graduation certificate, transcripts or a valid English certificate, we will change your offer to an Unconditional Offer Letter so you can continue with the remaining steps and apply for a UK student visa with our full guidance and support.
