9. Study pathways for Vietnamese students:

  • After completing Year 11, students may choose to study:
    • Foundation Programme + Year 1 of Bachelor’s degree;
    • Diploma (Stage 1) + Diploma (Stage 2) + Year 2 of Bachelor’s degree.
  • After completing Year 12, students may choose to study:
    • Diploma (Stage 2) + Year 2 of Bachelor’s degree;
    • Direct entry into Bachelor’s degree (from Year 1).
  • After completing a Bachelor’s degree, students may progress to a Master’s degree.

  • Foundation Programme / Diploma (Stage 1): Completion of Year 11, IELTS 5.5 (no band below 5.0);
  • Diploma (Stage 2): Completion of Year 12, GPA ≥ 5.5, IELTS 5.5 (no band below 5.0);
  • Bachelor’s degree: High school transcript, IELTS 6.5 – 7.0 depending on the programme;
  • Postgraduate programmes: University transcript, IELTS 6.5 – 7.0 depending on the programme; work experience requirements from 0.5 year depending on the field of study.

  • Master’s degree: Approximately AUD 29,000 – 44,000/year;
  • Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC): From AUD 480 – 550/year.

  • Merit Scholarship: 25% tuition fee for the first year, applicable to Bachelor’s and coursework Master’s programmes;
  • Science & Engineering Undergraduate International Merit Extension Scholarship:
    25% tuition fee for subsequent years, applicable to students who received the Merit Scholarship in Year 1 and meet the following conditions:

    • Maintain an annual average of ≥ 80% for Bachelor’s programmes in the Faculty of Science & Engineering;
    • Maintain an annual average of ≥ 70% for MBA & MBA Advanced programmes;
    • Maintain an annual average of ≥ 75% for the Master of Commerce (Marketing) programme.
  • WA Government Scholarships:
  • English Subsidy: Valued at up to AUD 7,008, reimbursed upon completion of the English language programme and commencement of the main course (Bachelor’s or Master’s) at Curtin University.
