Entry requirement for Western Sydney’s undergraduate programs

Effective as of Friday 3 May, 2019 for July intake, 2019
Students graduated from the following selected high school list will be assessed for direct entry based on Year 12 GPA.
1. Nguyen Hue Gifted high school (Ha Dong district, Hanoi)
2. Phan Dinh Phung high school (Ba Dinh District, Hanoi)
3. Nhan Chinh high school (Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi)
4. Hanoi National University of Education, High school for the gifted (Cau Giay district, Hanoi)
5. Kim Lien High School (Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi)
6. Tran Phu High School (Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi)
7. Thang Long High School (Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi)
8. Tran Dai Nghia High school for the Gifted (District 1, HCMC)
9. Le Hong Phong High school (District 5, HCMC)
10. Nguyen Thuong Hien High school (Tan Binh district, HCMC)
11. Le Quy Don High School (District 3, HCMC)
12. Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High school (District 1, HCMC)
13. VNU-HCM High School for the Gifted (District 5, HCMC)
14. THPT A Chau – The Asia International School (HCMC)
15. Gia Dinh High school (Binh Thanh district, HCMC)
16. Vietnam Australia International School (multiple campuses, HCMC)
17. Australian International School (multiple campuses, HCMC)
18. Saigon International College (Phu Nhuan District, HCMC)
19. VinSchool System (one school, but both branches in Hanoi and HCMC)
Conditions:
- Student to achieve Year 12 GPA of minimum 7.5/10 from one of the above high schools
- Admissions will issue conditional COE upon submission of satisfied Year 12 GPA and official high school transcript in May, so student can apply for the visa to commence July intake
- Temporary High school National Graduate Certificate has to be submitted before enrollment date
Note: The rest of Vietnam high schools that are not in the above list, student will have to achieve minimum GPA 6/10 on their National High School Graduation Exam to be admitted for direct entry at Western Sydney
