Following its withdrawal from the European Union on 1 February 2020, the United Kingdom became a fully independent state pursuing its own economic, political, educational, military and diplomatic objectives without being bound by the EU’s common regulations as before. National development policies have become more flexible and seemingly more effective, with decisions being made more promptly and efficiently.

In the field of education alone, immediately after Brexit, the UK reinstated its policy allowing international students to remain for 02 years of post-study work and to apply for permanent residence once eligible. At the same time, it relaxed certain education and immigration policies, making conditions more favorable for international students.
