9. Study Pathways for Vietnamese Students

  • After Grade 11: Foundation Studies + Bachelor’s degree (from Year 1)
  • After Grade 12, students may choose:
    • Foundation Studies + Bachelor’s degree (from Year 1);
    • Diploma (1 year) + Bachelor’s degree (from Year 2);
    • Direct entry to Bachelor’s degree (from Year 1)
  • After completing a Bachelor’s degree (3-4 years): Progression to Master’s or PhD programmes
  • After completing a Master’s degree (1-2 years): Progression to a PhD programme

  • Foundation Studies: Completion of Grade 11, GPA ≥ 5.0, IELTS ≥ 5.5 (no skill below 5.0);
  • Diploma: Completion of High School, GPA ≥ 5.5-6.0, IELTS ≥ 5.5-6.5 (depending on the major);
  • Bachelor’s degree: Completion of High School, GPA ≥ 7.0, IELTS ≥ 6.0-6.5 (no skill below 6.0, depending on the major), or completion of Foundation/Diploma programmes;
  • Master’s degree: Completion of a Bachelor’s degree, IELTS ≥ 6.5 (no skill below 6.0);
  • Doctoral (PhD) degree: Completion of a Bachelor’s degree with Honours or a Master’s degree, IELTS ≥ 7.0.
