Medical examination

A medical examination is a mandatory part of the student visa application process for certain countries. The purpose is to ensure that the student is in good health and, most importantly, does not have tuberculosis or other infectious diseases. Applicants must complete their medical exam at clinics authorized by the visa offices.

• Mandatory before applying for a visa: the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, etc.;
• Not mandatory: most other countries.
