Saturday - 27/12/2025

A real-world perspective from Mike Nguyen – a second-year student at The University of Western Australia (UWA)

Studying abroad is not only about academic pursuit; it is a journey of personal growth, practical experience, and expanded global career opportunities. At the upcoming in-person consultation session with representatives from UWA, participants will have the opportunity to hear first-hand insights from Mike Nguyen, an active and driven Vietnamese international student who is currently studying and thriving at UWA — ranked among the world’s top 77 universities (QS Rankings 2026).

  • Double major in the Bachelor of Commerce program: Business Analytics & Enterprise and Innovation;

  • Consultant Intern at GH Consulting & Advisory;

  • Participant in Case in an Evening, co-organised by 180 Degrees Consulting WA in collaboration with Deloitte (principal sponsor and professional advisor), delivering pro bono consulting to support organisations in addressing strategic and operational challenges;

  • Former member of Venture, a student organisation supporting startups in product development, team building, and operations, with funding packages of up to AUD 5,000.
