9. Study Pathways for Vietnamese Students
- After completing Grade 11, students may choose: University Foundation (2-3 terms) + entry into Year 1 of Bachelor’s;
- After completing Grade 12, students may choose: Diploma (2-3 terms) + entry into Year 2 of Bachelor’s, or Direct entry to Bachelor’s (from Year 1);
- After completing Bachelor’s: Progress to Master’s or PhD programs;
- After completing Master’s: Progress to PhD programs.
10. Entry Requirements
- Foundation: Completion of Grade 11, GPA ≥ 5.0, IELTS ≥ 5.0 (no band below 4.5). Health Sciences/Medicine pathways require IELTS 5.5-6.0+;
- Diploma: Completion of Grade 12, GPA ≥ 6.0, IELTS ≥ 6.0 (no band below 5.5) for Standard/Fast-track, or IELTS ≥ 5.5 (no band below 5.0) for Provisional Entry;
- Bachelor’s: Completion of Grade 12 at recognized Vietnamese high schools (see list here). GPA equivalent to ATAR 75, or completion of Year 1 at a Vietnamese university; IELTS ≥ 6.0 (no band below 6.0), or completion of Foundation/Diploma;
- Master’s: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, IELTS ≥ 6.5 (no band below 6.0);
- Doctoral (PhD): Honours Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree, Research experience required, IELTS ≥ 6.5 (no band below 6.0).
