Tung Bach receives university student visa while studying in Grade 12 in Vietnam. Planning early brings early success!

Wednesday - 20/05/2026

Determined to follow his older brother to study in Australia, Nguyen Lang Tung Bach submitted his study abroad application right after finishing Grade 11. By the end of the first semester of Grade 12, he successfully secured a 30% scholarship from the University of Wollongong, confirmed his enrollment, and submitted his visa application. Following his medical check and biometrics on May 11, his visa was granted on May 18.

Thus, like many other international students at Duc Anh, just over one week after submitting his application, Tung Bach was granted his student visa before even completing Grade 12.

THE NGUYEN LANG BROTHERS

  • Tung Bach: Granted his visa on May 18, Bach is a Grade 12 student at Dao Duy Tu High School (Thai Nguyen) with an impressive academic record: a GPA of 9.5/10 and an IELTS score of 7.0. With a strong foundation in science subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, combined with a passion for technology and environmental issues, Bach early on set his goal to pursue Engineering while still at high school.

  • Tung Lam: Bach’s older brother is an alumnus of Thai Nguyen Gifted High School and a former student at Wollongong. Duc Anh EduConnect successfully supported him in obtaining his 485 Temporary Graduate visa, and he is currently working as a computer engineer in Australia.
