Thông tin chung, vui lòng xem tại đây. Về cơ bản, du học sinh dưới 18 tuổi cần:
- Sống và học tập tại Úc dưới sự bảo trợ của cha mẹ hoặc người bảo trợ hợp pháp;
- Cha mẹ/ người bảo trợ hợp pháp kí vào đơn xin visa du học cho con;
- Nếu du học sinh sống với họ hàng, người họ hàng cần chứng minh được họ có quan hệ họ hàng với học sinh, có đủ điều kiện về nơi ở, tư cách, điều kiên tài chính và các quy định khác của bộ di trú để bảo trợ du học sinh như: người bảo trợ đã trên 21 tuổi và được bố mẹ học sinh ủy quyền bảo trợ, người bảo trợ là anh chị em, cô, dì, chú bác, ông bà nội ngoại ruột hoặc kế của học sinh, người bảo trợ có quyền ở Úc cho đến khi du học sinh tròn 18 tuổi, hoặc cho đến khi visa của người đó hết hạn, người bảo trợ cần có xác nhận tư cách của cảnh sát Úc, người bảo trợ được nhà trường du học sinh định học kiểm tra và đồng ý;
- Nếu du học sinh ở homestay hoặc trường nội trú do trường đồng ý, giấy bảo trợ sẽ được PRISMA cấp và do trường ký, xem thêm thông tin tại đây
