9. Study pathways for Vietnamese students

  • After completing Grade 12, students may choose:
    • Diploma (1 year) + Bachelor’s (from Year 2), or
    • Direct entry into Bachelor’s (Year 1)
  • After completing Bachelor’s (3-4 years): Progress to Master’s or PhD
  • After completing Master’s (1-2 years): Progress to PhD

ACU accepts students from all Vietnamese high schools

  • English Program: for students who do not yet meet English requirements;
  • Diploma: Completion of Grade 12, GPA ≥ 6.0, IELTS ≥ 5.5;
  • Bachelor’s: Completion of Grade 12, GPA ≥ 8.0, IELTS ≥ 6.0 (some majors require IELTS 6.5-7.0);
  • Master’s: Bachelor’s degree, IELTS ≥ 6.5 (some majors require IELTS 7.0);
  • Doctoral (PhD): Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, Research experience, IELTS ≥ 6.5.
