Các trường đại học Thụy Điển

Hệ thống giáo dục bậc Đại học tại Thụy Điển dựa theo khung tiêu chuẩn của Châu Âu, bao gồm cử nhân, thạc sỹ và tiến sĩ.
Có 2 loại trường đại học tại Thụy Điển là: University và University College. Hầu như không có sự khác biệt giữa 2 loại trường này. Điểm khác biệt duy nhất là University sẽ cho phép đào tạo bậc Tiến sỹ còn University College thì không.
- Chương trình Cử nhân có thời lượng học chùng là 3 năm (tương đương 180 ECTS credits);
- Chương trình Thạc sỹ có thời lượng học từ 1 đến 2 năm (tương đương 60 hoặc 120 ECTS credits), dành cho sinh viên đã tốt nghiệp cử nhân;
- Chương trình Tiến sỹ, là chương trình nghiên cứu bao gồm nhiều năm làm luận án. Thời lượng học sẽ tùy vào mỗi trường đưa ra.
Có 2 kỳ nhập học:
- Kỳ tháng 8: bắt đầu vào cuối tháng 8 đến giữa tháng 1 và sẽ có 1 kỳ nghỉ ngắn vào cuối tháng 12
- Kỳ tháng 1: bắt đầu từ giữa tháng 1 đến đầu tháng 6.
