2. Free tuition and some of the lowest living costs in Europe
Currently, 4 out of Germany’s 16 federal states charge moderate tuition fees for the first semester – approximately €500 per semester (~27 million VND per year). 3. Excellent opportunities for part-time work, post-study employment, and settlement
International students are permitted to work: Up to 90 full days per year, or equivalent part-time hours. With an average wage of €7/hour, students can earn around €5,040 per year, enough to cover basic living expenses.
After graduation, students can stay in Germany for 18 months to seek employment. The first step is applying for a residence permit for job-seeking purposes. If your job aligns with your field of study, you may become eligible for the EU Blue Card, enabling long-term residency in Germany.

Germany offers extensive financial and social support for students, including:
- Subsidized meals in student cafeterias;

With over 500 major multinational companies operating in Germany (out of 45,000 foreign enterprises), job prospects are abundant. Some government organizations even offer repatriation support – up to €10,000 investment for job placement and 3-6 months of salary (about €500/month) for graduates returning to Vietnam.
