Nhiệt độ. Úc khá ấm, tuy nhiên có thời điểm thời tiết khá khắc nghiệt:
- 53°C tại Cloncurry (Queensland) vào năm 1889,
- -23°C tại CharlottePass (NSW) vào năm 1994.
