  • Standard programme (2 trimesters – 8 months): Completion of Grade 11, GPA ≥ 7.0, IELTS ≥ 5.5 (no skill below 5.5);
  • Extended programme (3 trimesters – 12 months): Completion of Grade 11, GPA ≥ 6.5, IELTS ≥ 5.0 (no skill below 5.0).
  • Diploma:
  • 2 trimesters – 8 months: Completion of Grade 12, GPA ≥ 6.0, IELTS ≥ 6.0 (no skill below 5.5);
  • 3 trimesters – 12 months: Completion of Grade 12, GPA ≥ 6.0, IELTS ≥ 5.5 (no skill below 5.0).
  • Bachelor’s degree: Completion of Grade 12 with a High School Certificate, GPA ≥ 7.0/10, IELTS ≥ 6.0 (Speaking and Writing must be at least 6.0);
  • Master’s degree: Completion of a Bachelor’s degree, IELTS ≥ 6.0 (Speaking and Writing must be at least 6.0). Some programmes may require relevant work experience.
  • Research Master’s degree: Completion of a Bachelor’s degree with Honours (4 years) or a Master’s degree with a research component, IELTS ≥ 6.5 (no band below 6.0; Writing must be at least 6.5);
  • Doctoral (PhD) degree: Completion of a research-based Master’s degree with high academic standing, IELTS ≥ 6.5 (no band below 6.0; Writing must be at least 6.5).

11. Intakes

  • English Language Programmes: monthly intakes;
  • Foundation Programme & Diploma: March, June, October each year;
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programmes: March, July each year.

12. Application Documents

General documents:

  • Certificate/Diploma of the highest level of education completed;
  • Academic transcripts for the most recent two years;
  • English language certificate (if available);
  • Passport (photo and signature page), if available;
  • Academic achievements and extracurricular activities (if applying for scholarships).

For Master’s programmes – additional requirements:

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV);
  • Two (02) letters of recommendation.

For PhD / Research Master’s programmes – additional requirements:

  • Research proposal;
  • Published academic papers (if any).

  • English Language Programmes: AUD 490 per week;
  • Foundation Programme & Diploma: AUD 29,000 – 36,400 per programme;
  • Bachelor’s degrees: AUD 33,800 – 45,500 per year;
  • Master’s / PhD programmes: AUD 38,100 – 45,500 per year.

  • Vice-Chancellor International Scholarships: 50% tuition fee for the full programme, applicable to Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes;
  • Excellence Scholarships: 25% tuition fee for the full programme, applicable to Bachelor’s programmes (ATAR equivalent 80);
  • Global Scholarships: 20% tuition fee for the full programme, applicable to Bachelor’s programmes (ATAR equivalent 70) and Postgraduate programmes (GPA ≥ 5.0);
  • Alumni Scholarship: 20% tuition fee for the full programme for Flinders alumni;
  • Pathway Scholarship: 20% tuition fee, applicable to students currently studying Australian Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas, Associate Degrees, or equivalent qualifications.
