9. Study Pathways for Vietnamese Students

  • After completing Grade 11: University Foundation + Bachelor’s (from Year 1)
  • After completing Grade 12, students may choose:
    • University Foundation + Bachelor’s (from Year 1), or
    • Diploma + Bachelor’s (from Year 2), or
    • Direct entry to Bachelor’s (from Year 1)
  • After completing Bachelor’s: progress to Master’s or PhD programs
  • After completing Master’s: progress to PhD programs

10. Entry Requirements

    • Extended (12 months): Completion of Grade 11, GPA ≥ 6.0; IELTS 5.0 (no band below 4.5)
    • Standard (8 months): Completion of Grade 11, GPA ≥ 6.0; IELTS 5.5 (Writing 5.5, no band below 5.0)
  • Diploma: Completion of Grade 12, GPA 6.0, IELTS 5.5-6.0 (depending on the program; no band below 5.5)
  • Bachelor’s: High school graduation, GPA for Grades 11 & 12 ≥ 8.0, and GPA ≥ 8.0 for 3 core subjects (selected from Mathematics, Literature, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology); IELTS 6.0-7.0 (depending on the program), or completion of Foundation/Diploma
  • Coursework Master’s: Bachelor’s degree; IELTS 6.5-7.0 (depending on the program)
  • Research Master’s / Doctoral (PhD): Honours Bachelor’s degree / Research Master’s degree; IELTS 6.5-7.0 (depending on the discipline)
