  • Foundation Programs
      • Extended (18 months): Grade 11 GPA ≥ 6.5 or Grade 12 GPA 6.5; IELTS 5.0 (no band below 5.0)
      • Standard (12 months): Grade 11 GPA ≥ 7.0 or Grade 12 GPA 6.5; IELTS 5.5 (Writing 5.5, no band below 5.0)
      • Intensive (10 months): Grade 11 GPA ≥ 7.5 or Grade 12 GPA 6.5; IELTS 6.0 (no band below 5.5)
  • Diploma Programs
    • Diploma Part 1: Age 16+, Grade 11 GPA 7.0 or Grade 12 GPA 6.5; IELTS 5.5 (no band below 5.0). Arts programs require IELTS 6.0 (Writing 6.0)
    • Diploma Part 2: Age 17+, Grade 12 GPA 6.5-7.0; IELTS 6.0 (Writing 6.0)
  • Bachelor’s Degree: High school graduation with GPA ≥ 8.5 (varies by program); IELTS ≥ 6.5 (no band below 6.0). Some programs have higher requirements. Or completion of Foundation/Diploma.
  • Graduate Certificate/Diploma (Postgraduate): Bachelor’s degree; IELTS ≥ 6.5 (no band below 6.0)
  • Coursework Master’s: Relevant Bachelor’s degree; IELTS ≥ 6.5 (no band below 6.0). Some programs have higher requirements.

14. Scholarships (10% – 100% tuition fee)

  • Monash International Leadership Scholarship: 100% tuition fee for the full course (Bachelor’s) – 4 highly competitive global awards;
  • Monash International Merit Scholarship: AUD 10,000 per year for the full course (Bachelor’s);
  • Monash University Grants: AUD 10,000 for the first year (Bachelor’s & Coursework Master’s; excludes certain programs);
  • Monash Award: AUD 10,000 per year, up to 3 years – 50 awards;
  • AUD 20,000 for the first 2 years (AUD 10,000/year) for Bachelor of Learning Design & Technology;
  • Engineering International High Achievers Scholarship: AUD 15,000 per year – 25 awards;
  • Master of Engineering New Specialisation Scholarship: 50% tuition fee (Renewable Energy Engineering, Smart Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Management) – 20 awards;
  • Monash College Grants: AUD 8,000 for Monash College Foundation/Diploma programs.
