9. Entry Requirements

Foundation Program: Completion of Grade 11; IELTS 5.5 (no band below 5.0); minimum age 17 at commencement;
Diploma (Unilink): High school graduation; GPA ≥ 6.5; IELTS 5.5 (no band below 5.0);
Bachelor’s Degree: High school graduation; GPA ≥ 7.0; IELTS 6.0 (some programs require 6.5-7.0), or completion of Foundation/Unilink;
Coursework Master’s: Bachelor’s degree recognized by the Australian education system; GPA ≥ 60%; IELTS 6.5-7.0 (depending on program);
Research Master’s: Bachelor’s degree, final-year GPA ≥ 70%, relevant experience, IELTS 6.5 (no band below 6.0);
PhD: Bachelor’s (Honours) or relevant Master’s degree; final-year GPA ≥ 70%; research experience; IELTS 6.5 (no band below 6.0).

Vocational Certificate (Certificate III – 1 year): AUD 19,960/year
Vocational Diploma: AUD 19,960 – 22,000/year
Bachelor’s Degree: AUD 32,880 – 45,500/year
Coursework Master’s: AUD 31,680 – 49,600/year
Research Programs: AUD 36,000 – 44,000/year

George Swinburne International Excellence Scholarship: 30% tuition fee for Bachelor’s and Master’s programs (automatic consideration). Excludes Nursing, Aviation and Piloting, certain double degrees, one-year Honours, Physiotherapy, Dietetics, and Occupational Therapy.
Swinburne International Scholarship: Up to 20% tuition fee for Bachelor’s and Master’s programs (same exclusions as above)
Swinburne International Pathway Scholarship: Up to AUD 3,000 for Foundation, Unilink (equivalent to Year 1), and Postgraduate Qualifying Programs
ELICOS Scholarship: AUD 4,800 (equivalent to 10 weeks of English tuition) for students undertaking English programs at Swinburne prior to their main course.

Students may choose homestay, on-campus accommodation, shared housing (for students aged 18+), or living with relatives.
