9. Study pathways for Vietnamese students:

  • After completing Grade 11, students may choose to study:
    • Foundation programme (Early Transition Program) / Diploma (Stage 1) + Year 1 of Bachelor’s degree;
    • Diploma (Stage 1) + Diploma (Stage 2) + Year 2 of Bachelor’s degree.
  • After completing Grade 12, students may choose to study:
    • Diploma (Stage 2) + Year 2 of Bachelor’s degree;
    • Direct entry into Bachelor’s degree (from Year 1).
  • After completing a Bachelor’s degree: Progress to Master’s degree.

  • Foundation programme: Completion of Grade 11, IELTS 5.5 (no band below 5.0);
  • Diploma: Completion of Grade 12, GPA ≥ 5.5, IELTS 5.5 (no band below 5.0);
  • Bachelor’s degree:
    • Completion of Grade 12 with an average high school graduation exam score of 7.0 or above; or
    • Students from international schools holding IB, A-level, AP, or Western Australia Certificate of Education (WACE); or
    • Vietnamese university students eligible for credit transfer into a Bachelor’s degree;
    • IELTS 6.5 – 7.0, depending on the programme; or
    • Completion of a Foundation or Diploma programme at Murdoch University;
  • Postgraduate programmes:
    • Completion of a Bachelor’s degree;
    • IELTS 6.5 – 7.0, depending on the programme;
    • Work experience from 0.5 year or above, depending on the programme.

  • Academic programmes: February, July;
  • English language programmes: Monthly intakes.

WA Government Scholarships:

  • Western Australian Premier’s University Scholarship Program: Valued at AUD 50,000, available to international students enrolling at one of the five universities in Western Australia. Murdoch University offers 01 scholarship for postgraduate students;
  • Western Australian Premier’s WACE Bursary: Valued at AUD 20,000, for international students who completed the WACE programme outside Australia and enrol in a Bachelor’s degree at one of the five universities or higher education institutions in Western Australia.
