- Ở. Học sinh phải hoặc là ở homestay hoặc KTX trường hoặc ở với người nhà được phép của trường. Người nhà muốn cho du học sinh ở homestay cần đảm bảo cung cấp giấy xác nhận không phạm tội do công an cấp (Police clearance), giấy phép làm việc với trẻ em (work with children permit) và nếu nhà có thành viên khác trên 18 tuổi thì tất cả các thành viên trong nhà cần nộp giấy này, kiểm tra nhà của trường (homestay inspection). Các thủ tục này cần ít nhất 4 tuần để hoàn thành vì vậy thân nhân học sinh cần chủ động làm sớm. Phí homestay từ 15,000- 22,000 AUD/năm, phí KTX khoảng 17,000- 23,000 AUD/năm;
- Bảo trợ học sinh dưới 18 tuổi. Học sinh dưới 18 tuổi cần người bảo trợ hợp pháp trong khi du học cho đến khi tròn 18 tuổi. Nhà trường hoặc các công ty bảo trợ học sinh có thể cung cấp dịch vụ này với mức phí từ 1,500- 2,200AUD/năm. Người nhà muốn bảo trợ cho du học sinh ở cần đảm bảo cung cấp giấy xác nhận không phạm tội do công an cấp (Police clearance), giấy phép làm việc với trẻ em (work with children permit), tuổi từ 21 trở lên và visa đủ độ dài cho đến khi học sinh hết 18 tuổi, phải qua phỏng vấn của trường. Các thủ tục này cần ít nhất 4 tuần để hoàn thành vì vậy thân nhân học sinh cần chủ động làm sớm.
