1. Early aspirations and plans disrupted by a global pandemic
Encouraged by her family to pursue international education, Tu Ngan transitioned to TH School to follow the Cambridge curriculum (IGCSE, AS/A Level), setting the foundation for future study abroad plans. By 2018 – 2019, she and her family had chosen Australia as her destination and turned to Duc Anh EduConnect for professional guidance. It was then that she met Ms. Kate, the consultant who would later accompany her through every stage of her journey.
However, just as everything aligned beautifully, COVID-19 arrived, halting international travel and postponing dreams worldwide. 2. A change in direction – but not in determination
By late 2021, the world was recovering, but uncertainty still lingered. Even with strong A Level results, Thu Ngan’s family did not feel ready to send her abroad. So, she chose to begin a new path at home: the International Joint Program between Coventry University (UK) and the Banking Academy.
Over four years, she completed the program and earned her BTEC Higher National Diploma (Level 5). Yet, despite the change in direction, her dream of studying overseas never truly disappeared. Ms. Kate helped her rethink her academic pathway, shifting from foundation programs to a complex international credit-transfer route.
