  • Strong graduate outcomes: Lincoln University students are rated the highest in Aotearoa New Zealand for course completion, as identified by the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) in its most recent annual Educational Performance Indicators (EPI). Among New Zealand’s eight universities in 2023, Lincoln University ranked first for course completion rate (90.5%), second for qualification completion rate (73.3%), and third for first-year student retention rate (79.5%). With over 140 years of academic excellence, Lincoln University is ranked 12th among the world’s best small universities.   • Certificates / Diplomas / Undergraduate Programs: High school graduation (all Vietnamese high schools are recognized); IELTS 6.0 (no band below 5.5); or completion of the first year at a reputable university with good academic results;
  • Postgraduate / Master’s Programs: Bachelor’s degree; IELTS 6.5 (no band below 6.0);
  • Doctoral Programs (PhD): IELTS 6.5 (no band below 6.0), accompanied by a detailed research proposal.

  • English Language Programs: NZD 1,820 (4-week course), NZD 5,460 (12-week course), and NZD 7,280 (16-week course);
  • Undergraduate Programs: NZD 18,000 – 28,000 per year;
  • Master’s Programs: NZD 18,000 – 34,000 per year.

Lincoln University primarily awards scholarships based on academic merit:

  • English for Further Study Award: Students who complete a minimum of 12 weeks of English for Academic Purposes (EAP) are eligible to receive a tuition fee reduction when progressing to their next academic program at Lincoln University;
  • Lincoln University International Pathway Merit Scholarship: Valued at NZD 2,500, for applicants enrolling in Certificate and Diploma programs. Applicants must meet academic and English language requirements. Application deadlines: 31 January for Semester 1, 30 June for Semester 2, and 31 October for Summer School;
  • Lincoln University International Undergraduate Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship: Valued at NZD 5,000, for applicants enrolling in Bachelor’s degree programs. Requirements: meet entry and English language requirements. Application deadlines: 31 January for Semester 1, 30 June for Semester 2, and 31 October for Summer School;
  • Lincoln University International Undergraduate Scholarship: Valued at NZD 3,000, for applicants enrolling in Bachelor’s degree programs. Requirements: meet entry and English language requirements. Application deadlines: 31 January for Semester 1, 30 June for Semester 2, and 31 October for Summer School;
  • Lincoln University International School Leaver Scholarship: Valued at NZD 10,000, for applicants enrolling in Bachelor’s degree programs.   • International Taught Master Merit Scholarships: Valued at NZD 7,000 – 10,000, for students enrolling in 180-credit taught Master’s programs. Requirement: minimum B+ GPA in the final year of Bachelor’s degree;
