Study in Northern Ireland

Thứ Năm - 11/06/2026

“By choosing to study in Northern Ireland, you will receive the same high-quality standard of education as anywhere else in the United Kingdom, but within a compact and close-knit community. Getting around Northern Ireland is easy, as it is a country with just six counties and a population of 1.7 million people. You will find everything you need for your studies here: a peaceful lifestyle, a stable socio-cultural environment, and career development opportunities – all within your reach.”

Northern Ireland hosts a continuous calendar of events throughout the year. As an international student, you will quickly notice that people are always asking about ‘the craic’ (loosely meaning what’s new, what’s happening, or what’s going on?). The country is home to the second-largest arts festival in the United Kingdom – the Belfast Festival at Queen’s – along with more than 50 other major festivals and events held year-round.

Northern Ireland has one of the youngest populations in Europe, with an average age of 27. This is reflected in a vibrant, creative, and constantly evolving society filled with activities and events. The country boasts a distinctive accent and culture, as well as a dynamic economy with a wide range of innovative businesses and emerging industries.

Northern Ireland has long been at the forefront of knowledge, scientific, and industrial revolutions. The first aircraft manufacturer, Short Brothers, was established in Belfast in 1908 and is now part of one of the largest manufacturing companies in Northern Ireland. The ill-fated passenger liner Titanic was built and launched here in 1912 by Harland and Wolff, which remains a major company in engineering and renewable energy.
