Văn hóa. Úc là nước đa văn hóa, đa sắc tôc
Tỷ lệ:
- 25% người Úc được sinh ra ở nước ngoài;
- 25% người Úc có bố hoặc mẹ sinh ra ở nước ngoài;
- Dân nhập cư vào Úc đến từ trên 140 nước;
- 2% dân số Úc là người bản xứ
Ngôn ngữ. Mặc dù Úc không có ngôn ngữ chính thức, song tiếng Anh luôn là quốc ngữ trên thực tế. Tiếng Anh-Úc là một dạng chính của ngôn ngữ này với khẩu âm và từ vựng đặc biệt, và có một số khác biệt nhỏ về chính tả và ngữ pháp với các phương ngữ tiếng Anh khác. Theo điều tra nhân khẩu năm 2016, tiếng Anh là ngôn ngữ duy nhất được nói trong gia đình của gần 72,7% dân số. Các ngôn ngữ được nói tại gia đình phổ biến tiếp theo là:
